The Wet Bottom

John Bonsignore, Middle Branch, New York, NY and Seaborne, New York, NY

“Mezcal has a sweet and smoky quality, which Campari balances, and the dry vermouth rounds out the two.”

1.5 oz (45 ml) Del Maguey Vida Single Village Mezcal

.75 oz (22.5 ml) La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Dry Vermouth

.25 oz (7.5 ml) Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao

.5 oz (15 ml) Campari

1 orange twist, as garnish

Build in a rocks glass. Add ice and stir briefly. Add the garnish.
