“I started with a jasmine and started to emphasize the grapefruit with vanilla (Carpano) and cherry (Lucano). It strangely brings out a really nice stone fruit flavor. A nod to Joaquin Simo, as I took a relatively classic cocktail and turned it into a 7-bottle pickup. “

1.5 oz (45 ml) Tanqueray No. TEN Gin

1 oz (30 ml) Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao

.25 oz (7.5 ml) Campari

.25 oz (7.5 ml) Amaro Lucano

.25 oz (7.5 ml) Carpano Antica Formula

.75 oz (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice

.25 oz (7.5 ml) Eli Mason Gomme Syrup

1 lemon twist, as garnish

Shake over ice, and strain into a chilled coupe. Add the garnish.
