Grace Under Pressure

Kavé Pourzanjani, Middle Branch, New York, NY

“This boozy tipple was concocted on the fly as 7 bartenders watched in silence. The result: a casual, smooth sipper with a whole lot of alcohol, a touch of indignant spice, and a lingering note of nervous citrus.”

2 oz (60 ml) Ron Zacapa Centenario Sistema Solera 23 Rum

.5 oz (15 ml) Del Maguey Vida Single Village Mezcal

.5 oz (15 ml) Don Zoilo Manzanilla Sherry

1 barspoon Eli Mason Gomme Syrup

2 dashes Bittermens ‘Elemakule Tiki® Bitters

1 lime twist

Stir over ice, and strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Squeeze the twist over the drink, then discard.
